Health and Family
The most important aspect of moving to the UK is not whether you have a superb new job, a fine home or a shiny new car but that your family is happy and secure with their new life and surroundings.  Therefore it is vital that you have to hand all the information and advice you need about making it work out for them.

Maintaining your personal health in the UK is undoubtedly an issue that you will want to be fully informed about.  As in any country, the UK’s Health Services have their own particular ways of operating.  Unique to the UK, the National Health Service (NHS), is a free medical service open to all.  Generally the standards of healthcare are high but waiting lists for operations and referrals to specialists can be long.  Alternatively, you may wish to opt for Private Health Care whereby you pay for any services that you receive, and as such, waiting times will be much shorter.

To the left of this page you will see a list of relevant topics, click on any of them at any time for information and advice regarding Health and Family issues.
